Everyone at Clase Primary School has been participating in early St. David's Day festivities by holding our very own Eisteddfod! Each class in the school planned a competition that encouraged children to be creative, imaginative, and to express their pride and passion in the Welsh language and culture. Competition entries ranged from using digital competency skills to create Laura Ashley inspired prints in Foundation Phase, to using our literacy skills in Key Stage 2 to produce poems expressing our pride in being from, or living in Wales. A huge ‘llongyfarchiadau!’ (congratulations!) to Celine Lloyd in Mr Jones’ class who the Year 6 competition for her outstanding poetry and was awarded the special privilege of being ‘Chair of the Bard 2019’ Eisteddfod.
