Welcome

CROESO!

Welcome to our school website. We are very proud of our school and the wonderful opportunities and experiences that we offer to everyone. Our school motto is ‘Reaching High, Learning Together and Having Fun!’, which underpins our commitment to achieving excellence in all areas of school life, and to ensuring that all our pupils feel safe, secure, healthy and happy in the learning environment that we provide.

We have over 311 pupils at the school from Nursery to Year 6 and 4 specialist teaching facilities for pupils with Autism and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties. We also have the Seahorses Flying Start setting based in the school.

Originally there were two schools on the same site, however, in 1997 the two schools became one and Clase Primary School began it’s journey. People are often amazed at the size of the building and the extensive school grounds, which include a woodland area known as Coed Clas, playgrounds, a sensory garden, a cottage garden, a reflective garden, allotments and a polytunnel used for outdoor learning for the whole community.

We encourage our pupils to become independent and reflective in their learning, and we provide opportunities in the curriculum and across a wide range of extra-curricular activities for everyone to extend and challenge themselves.

We believe that it is important to build strong partnerships with everyone involved in our school community and we place a great emphasis on mutual respect, support and in developing relationships with parents, carers and families. We understand that we all have a role to play in raising the children in our community.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our new school website. If you have any questions or would like to visit the school please contact Mrs Kelly Williams, our office manager, to make an appointment.

Sharon Hope, Headteacher.
