Are you ready for Christmas?- Wellbeing 
Mindful Monday

Practise relaxing using the calm down cocoa breathing.

To deepen your relaxation, after the breathing strategy place a small piece of your favourite chocolate/treat in your mouth. With our eyes closed, let the chocolate slowly melt on your tongue while you focus on the tastes and smells. 

Tasty Tuesday

Ingredients

400g white chocolate

300g Rice Krispies

Christmas sprinkles

 

Method

  • place a bowl over a saucepan of hot water
  • melt the chocolate in the bowl
  • stir in the Rice Krispies
  • divide the mixture evenly into 15 paper cake cases 
  • decorate with sprinkles
  • chill in the fridge until hard
  • Enjoy!

The Twelve Days of Fit-mas -  by Miss Briskham 

1. On the first day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, a 10 second sleigh ride sit.( Wall sit)

 

2. On the second day of Christmas Miss Briskam made me do, 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

3. On the third day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

4. On the fourth day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 4 running reindeers (jogging on the spot), 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

5. On the fifth day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 5 snowmen steps (lunges), 4 running reindeers (jogging on the spot), 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

6. On the sixth day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 6 Santa sit ups (sit ups),  5 snowmen steps (lunges), 4 running reindeers (jogging on the spot), 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

7. On the seventh day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 7 penguin slides (superman stretches),  6 Santa sit ups (sit ups),  5 snowmen steps (lunges), 4 running reindeers (jogging on the spot), 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

8. On the eighth day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 8 snowflake stretches ( stretch like a snowflake and relax) 7 penguin slides (superman stretches),  6 Santa sit ups (sit ups),  5 snowmen steps (lunges), 4 running reindeers (jogging on the spot), 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

9. On the ninth day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 9 downward Rudolph's (downward dogs), 8 snowflake stretches ( stretch like a snowflake and relax) 7 penguin slides (superman stretches),  6 Santa sit ups (sit ups),  5 snowmen steps (lunges), 4 running reindeers (jogging on the spot), 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

10. On the tenth day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 10 Christmas trees ( tree yoga pose), 9 downward Rudolph's (downward dogs), 8 snowflake stretches ( stretch like a snowflake and relax) 7 penguin slides (superman stretches),  6 Santa sit ups (sit ups),  5 snowmen steps (lunges), 4 running reindeers (jogging on the spot), 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

11. On the eleventh day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 11 Prancer press ups (press ups from the knees), 10 Christmas trees ( tree yoga pose), 9 downward Rudolph's (downward dogs), 8 snowflake stretches ( stretch like a snowflake and relax) 7 penguin slides (superman stretches),  6 Santa sit ups (sit ups),  5 snowmen steps (lunges), 4 running reindeers (jogging on the spot), 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit. 

 

12. On the twelfth day of Christmas Miss Briskham made me do, 12 Holly hops (hopping on alternate legs), 11 Prancer press ups (press ups from the knees), 10 Christmas trees ( tree yoga pose), 9 downward Rudolph's (downward dogs), 8 snowflake stretches ( stretch like a snowflake and relax) 7 penguin slides (superman stretches),  6 Santa sit ups (sit ups),  5 snowmen steps (lunges), 4 running reindeers (jogging on the spot), 3 snowball squat jumps (Squat jump), 2 shooting star jumps (Star Jump) and a 10 second sleigh ride sit.
