Welcome to our class!

In our class, we like to learn in lots of different ways.

Some of our favourite learning activities are…

cooking, painting, drawing, singing, signing, and forest schools!

We also like reading, writing and PE,

But best of all, we like spending time with each other!

A few reminders:

• Class fund is paid on a Monday every week and is £3. This covers our fruit, healthy snack, cooking, sensory sessions and going out in the local community. 
• If you have any questions or queries feel free to ask on Class Dojo, they will be replied to when possible. If there is an urgent matter, please telephone the office.
• We like to learn through exploring and we especially love messy play. We may come home messy some days, but that's because we have been having lots of fun. 
• Our school day is runs from 9am to 3pm.

Home Learning Resources

Below are homework grids with a range of activities that you can complete with your child at home.  There is a mixture of practical and physical activities as well as crafts and life skill activities, you can show us your learning by uploading a photo to your portfolio page on class dojo. 

Below are some online resources and interactive games that the children can use to support their learning.

The children use 'Hwb' to explore, play games, create documents, save activities and practise logging in. You will need your child's username and password for this. Keep an eye out on the school Twitter page @ClasePrimary for ideas to help keep your children busy and stimulated!

Hwb has a range of fun and interactive activities for your child to access at home. You can also check your child's emails on Hwb. To do this, you first need to log on to your child's Hwb account. Select Office 365 and then click on Outlook for emails. It would be great to receive emails which contain pictures of activities that you have been doing together. 

We also really enjoy using Just 2 Easy in our class. To access this, log onto Hwb. Click on Just 2 Easy or it might be called J2e on mobile devices. Once you've done that then click on Jit. We love to paint and draw on Jit! 

In order for your child to access any of the resources on Hwb; you will need their individual Hwb account details. If you are unsure of your child’s Hwb login details, please will you message your class teacher via class dojo - Diolch Miss Holloway
