Seahorses Flying Start is a childcare setting based within Clase Primary School. We provide childcare for children aged 2-3 years within and the surrounding areas of Clase. We can currently care for up to 12 children per session and are registered with CIW, (Childcare Inspectorate Wales).
Seahorses Flying Start we aim to provide children and their families with high quality free childcare in a warm, friendly and stimulating environment. We can access support for children who have been identified as having an additional learning need, (ALN), through a referral process within Flying Start. The Education Psychologist and Additional Learning Needs Coordinator provide support for each identified child on an individual basis.
Children have access to many areas of learning within the setting. These include a messy area, role play area, construction area, art and craft area, toy area, fine motor area, gross motor area, sensory area and outdoor play area, including Coed Clas within the school grounds. Seahorses Staff work closely with the Nursery teacher and staff to help provide a smooth transition to Nursery for you and your child.
