Phase 1 Specialist Teaching Facility for MLD - Miss Stirling

Welcome to Our Class!

Miss Holloway is our teacher and we are lucky to be supported in our learning by Miss Reid, Mrs Froom, Mrs Sharpe & Mrs Buller

We like to learn through exploring things and we especially love messy play. We may come home messy some days, but that's because we have been having lots of fun.

A few helpful reminders!

  • Class fund is paid on a Monday every week and is £3. This covers our fruit, snack, cooking, sensology sessions as well as other experiences.
  • We do lots of messy play so could we please have spare clothes & wellies just in case we get a little bit dirty!
  • We are  available via class dojo to answer any questions or queries and will use it to keep you up to date with any important information- this is also where we will share photo's of your child's learning for you to see all the fun and exciting things that they have been up to.

Thank you for your continued support :)

Our big question for the Spring Term is 'What Powers Our lives?' 😊

We will be exploring food, energy & water and looking at special events such as the Chinese Lunar year, Dydd Santes Dwynwen and Saint David's day and all the foods linked to around the world!

Please see our termly overview that details some of the learning that we will be doing over the next term.

Home Learning Grid - Spring Term 2024

Each term we have a new home learning grid that contains a range of learning for you to do with your child at home. The learning links to our 'Big Question' as well as special events happening within the term such as Easter and Saint David's day.

There is a mixture of practical and physical activities as well as crafts and life skill activities, you can show us your learning by uploading a photo to your portfolio page on class dojo.
