Let's look after our Bodies and Minds
The current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has seen a huge change in the way we run our day-to-day lives which will have a big impact on our mental health. While it is important to stay informed, there are also many things we can do to support and manage our wellbeing during this time.
The resources posted on this page have been chosen to help parents explain Coronavirus in a way that is child-friendly. There are also a range of activities that promote positive mental health and are fun for all the family to complete.
Staying connected with your class teachers through email is also a great way to share any worries you may have no matter how big or small they may seem - we're here to help!
We will be posting lots on Twitter during this time to help us stay connected to you too!
Mental Health Awareness Week
18th May - 24th May 2020 is Mental Health Awareness Week. The theme this year is 'kindness'. Being kind to ourselves and those around is one way we can help to promote positive mental health during this tricky time.
Please share the clip below with your children to inspire them to complete our 'Community Kindness' Challenge in support of Mental Health Awareness Week. We have teamed up with Beth Pike our Local Area Coordinator to spread some 'colour and kindness' to those in our community who find themselves alone at this tricky time. Details of the challenge can be found below.
