As a school, we have taken part in the Enterprise Project for the past three years. Last year, Year 3/4 excitingly had the opportunity to plan and develop a product as part of the Enterprise Project. The aim of the project was to allow pupils to develop as enterprising, creative contributors.
Our pupils collaboratively came up with ideas they wanted to develop as part of the project. Year 3/4 decided to grow plants and vegetables as we are a healthy school. The market day in Castle Gardens was a total success. The children were buzzing entrepreneurs, selling their vegetables and plants to the public. The children came up with many selling strategies including a jingle!
We made over £100 profit from the Enterprise Project and we used this money to help develop our classrooms and outdoor area. We took part in a Grand Final Day where we won an award for “Best Research & Planning.”
