Welcome to our class!
In our class, we like to learn in lots of different ways. Some of our favourite learning activities are…
shopping, cooking, painting, drawing, singing, signing, going on trips and forest schools!
We also like reading, writing, PE (especially Football) and doing the conga!
But best of all, we like spending time with each other!
We are so lucky to be supported in our learning by Mrs Wheel, Mr Phillips, Mrs Jones, Mrs Wallace, Mrs Buller and Mrs Parry.
We still have a number of home made Christmas decorations for sale. They are an ideal present for friends and family and are all unique!
Pop into the classroom for more details.
This term we have been learning about the Celts. To start our topic we went on a trip to Castell Henllys, an Iron Age settlement in Pembrokeshire, to see how the Celts used to live.
We learnt about their homes, how they used to build and how they cooked. The trip was so much fun and was a great way to start our topic!
The Celts at Clase!
Our learning continued back in our classroom where we designed and made our own Torcs (a Torc is a Celtic necklace which was very precious), roundhouses, clay bowls and even a Celtic fence! We also used the internet to find out more about Celtic life.
King March's Ears
We have been looking at an old Celtic tale about King March.
We read the story, acted it out and retold it in our own words.
