Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
On the 2nd of April 2024, the world celebrated Autism Awareness Day. As we were on our Easter holiday we missed this celebration - so as a school will be hosting our own Autism Awareness Day on Monday 22nd Aprilโจ.
Children are encouraged to wear clothes that are all different colours of the rainbow to show their support on Monday 22nd April๐. It is entirely up to you and your child what colour(s) they would like to wear.
As we are an inclusive school, we will have activities going on linked to autism awareness for that whole week.
We can’t wait to see all of those bright colours being worn so proudly around our school๐คฉ.
Next week is family fun disco week !!!! ๐๐บ๐ป
Discos will run as follows:
Monday the 22nd year 5/6
Tuesday the 23rd year 3/4
Wednesday the 24th year 1/2
Thursday the 25th early years and flying start.
The discos will start at 3:30pm and finish at 4:30pm all children will need to be accompanied by an adult/parent/carer. No child will be admitted without an adult. โ
If you have children in different classes across the school you can choose which disco you would like to attend or you can attend them all.

Due to Welsh Government changes surrounding recycling and waste collection for schools, we will need to make some changes here at Clase Primary.
From tomorrow, all waste from those children having packed lunch will need go home with the children. This is common practice in many schools across Swansea already and I know many of our children do this. Please provide your child with a sealable lunch box in which they can put waste in so that it does not leave any mess in their bag.
We are also no longer able to purchase single-use plastic cups. Many of the children have sometimes asked for cups to have a drink of water, but this will not be an option moving forward. Please provide your child with a refillable bottle for water, this is particularly important as we move into the (fingers crossed) warmer months!
Thank you for your continued support.
Diolch,
Mr Jones
